6. Confidentiality
Everything you share is confidential except where I have:
Serious and immediate concerns about your safety or the safety of others
Concerns about a child or vulnerable adult
A legal obligation to disclose information (e.g. court order, terrorism offences)
A professional requirement to discuss cases in clinical supervision (identifying details minimised)
I will always aim to speak with you first before sharing any information, unless doing so would increase risk.
This aligns with the approach described in my Privacy Policy.
7. Safeguarding: GP & Emergency Contact
For safety and good practice, I collect:
Your GP name and surgery details
A next-of-kin or emergency contact
These details are used only if I have significant concerns about your welfare, and always following the principles outlined in my Privacy Policy.

UK GDPR
Data Protection Act 2018

13. Ending Therapy
You are free to end therapy at any time. Ideally, we will plan an ending session to review progress.
I may also suggest ending or pausing therapy if:

I assess that your needs would be better met by another service (e.g., higher-level, crisis or specialist care)
This mirrors the approach in the Therapy Agreement and is in line with good clinical practice.
